In 2014, Christian Douglas was inspired by the journey of Aisosa Henkoma, a young survivor of human trafficking. Determined to support Sosa’s aspirations, Christian voluntarily funded his growth, helping him rebuild his life and step into leadership. Witnessing the transformation firsthand, Christian saw the greater potential—if one person’s life could be changed through support, guidance, and opportunity, how many more could follow?

This was the spark that ignited The Unique Charity. Christian envisioned a legacy of empowerment, where young people—especially those from disadvantaged backgrounds—could access funding, mentoring, and self-sustainable opportunities to become entrepreneurs, leaders, and changemakers.

Today, The Unique Charity stands as a symbol of hope, opportunity, and transformation, dedicated to reaching thousands of young people like Sosa. It exists to break cycles of disadvantage, uplift unheard voices, and create long-lasting change through sustainable, community-led projects.

What started as a vision is now a movement—one that will change lives for generations to come.
